Work at Height and Harness training
SLAM safety Work at Height and harness training is on onsite training giving workers practical solutions to work at height in a safe manner.

Work at Height presentation, which demonstrates the following:
- Height hazard identification
- Height equipment identification
- Height equipment condition check
- Correct harness fitting
- Correct anchor point identification
- Potential harness hazards (such as swing back and suspension trauma)
- Safe ladder use
- Scaffold safety
- Emergency rescue procedures

Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training
SLAM safety MEWP training is an onsite training demonstrating safe use of an appropriate MEWP while working on site.
SLAM safety Mobile Elevated Work Platform training package includes:
Tea and coffee
Mobile Elevated Work Platform presentation, which demonstrates the following:
- Appropriate MEWP identification
- MEWP pre-start check demonstration
- Correct MEWP set up demonstrated
- Correct MEWP use demonstrated (including spotter)
- Powerline awareness
- Emergency rescue
- Appropriate MEWP risk assessment will be demonstrated
Please note: Appropriate and certified MEWP must be made available by client.

- New Zealand Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety management
- 2 + years construction and industry Health and Safety training experience.
- New Zealand Certificate in Adult & Tertiary Teaching (currently undertaking)
